Temperature regulation device TRG For the pressing of materials under defined pressure at high temperatures P/O/WEBER developed the TEMPRESS hot press technology systems:
Fields of application are the manufacturing and testing of foils, composite materials, adhesive materials, polymers, synthetics and many others.

TEMPRESS is available in different types. Add-on components and individually manufactured special types are available.
Combined with the processor control PRESSYS the press force/temperature/time ramps can be preprogrammed and worked off.
System: TEMPRESS Manual and automatic lab presses may be equipped with different hot/cooling plates (HKP) with a size up to 600 x 400 mm and a digital temperature control up to 500 °C.

The inductive resistance heating of round HKPs are flat heating elements. Angled HKPs are equipped with heating cartridges. A cooling device in the press is permantly active when the heating runs, preventing a dangerous heating-up of mounting and piston.

Continuously the actual values are tracked by temperature sensors (PT 100 or FeCuNi). The actual values with PID-regulation characteristics and self-optimization are transmitted and, controlled by a processor, adjusted to the set values.
Technical data
Digital temperature regulation device The digital TRG temperature regulation devices regulate and supply the electric heating of lab presses and press tools. They display the actual values in PID-format and offer an additional analog measuring data OUT-hub.

The TRG devices connected to table models may be placed near the press. The TRG units of automatic presses are integrated into the switch cabinet.
